So I got the job...I'm not sure exactly what I'll be doing. And I ran into Wesley, who came from LA. This town is turning out to be interesting, to say the least. I can't believe all the people here, they're all so...ecclectic, to say the least. It's going to be different living here. I can feel it. |

It occured to me that I haven't yet described where I'm living. The house or flat or whatever you want to call it is nice. It's one floor with an unfinished basement. The main floor has a living room, a decent sized kitchen, a bedroom with a nice sized bathroom, a guest bedroom, and a guest bathroom. The basement is unfinished but not repulsive. I settled into the main bedroom but I had too much stuff to fit it all in. In the guest bedroom I set up all my books and nicknacks. The only thing I set up in my room, besides all my clothes in the closet, was my computer. Sigh. I should probably go to that medical practice soon. The summer is making me extremely lethargic.

I am so lost. You would think that living in LA would help me get used to getting around. For now I'm wandering around, trying to find that medical practice that I saw. Sigh. Being alone is vastly overrated. |

Life in this town is so far quiet and serene. I saw a medical practice. I wonder if they need any help. It would be nice to help people in an altruistic sense.
